For its first twelve months, the Friends website was generously hosted thanks to the kindness of Synchromedia, which is run by a former local resident whose son played in Blakers. Synchromedia are the creators of SmartMessages and very nice people indeed.
Many of the photographs on this website, particularly the sunny ones showing the park at the height of summer, have been taken by Julia Powell who has most kindly contributed them to this new website.
Other photographs, where not credited, have been taken by members of the Committee.
CommunitySites have built this for us, which is fantastic because they are based just around the corner from the park. They did it with help from Sam Scaife, a local student whose studies are going extremely well, possibly due to the influence in his early years of playing in the Blakers.
