Spring 2012 Newsletter

We know that Mr Rupert Murdoch deliberately launched his new Sunday newspaper to clash with the publication of the Spring 2012 issue of the Friends of Blakers Park newsletter. Nevertheless, the posturing of an international media mogul is not going to frighten us from publishing the truth about the Spring Clean, the Lunch Club and the improved membership deals.

If you can’t wait for one of our dedicated volunteer deliverers to hand a copy to you personally, you can download it here, wherever you may live, just like a nervous Mr Murdoch has just done. Sorry, Rupert, we scooped you again with our centre page photo spread.

We also have to admit, without having to be forced by the Leveson enquiry, to making two errors. Lydia who planted the new flower bed is actually called Liz and we are very sorry we gave her the wrong name. Secondly, the newsletter’s calendar shows there will be Community Games on 20th June. It should, of course, be 20th July. You will have a long time to wait if you turn up on 20th June.
