A colourful information gateway about Blakers Park, its trees, wildlife, changing seasons and memories.
The panel, which was completed in December 2019, is the most visible part of our ongoing Greening the Project to create a modern history of the park. Sally Cranfield, our Chair said: “we wanted a new way to showcase the park and in particular the importance of its trees and wildlife. We are indebted to the support from neighbours, friends, Morgan Cahn Architects ( formerly based in John Blaker’s house) and from our three 2016 local councillors”.
Sue Korman and Simon Bottrell who designed the panel have created an and eye catching and informative connection between the park and its online resources.
