About the Friends

 

The Friends began in 1989 and is now focused on enhancing the park as a much loved green space.

Get in touch if you would like to:

*Support our Greening the Park Project – if you would like to sponsor some planting or suggest any future sponsored planting projects. N.B. Our Sponsor a Tree option has just closed (March 2023) as we have reached the  quota of available spaces)

*Volunteer to dig, clear or water the park  – we work on an ad hoc basis.

*Donate – by setting up a standing order or using the Donate button on this website.

*Become a Committee Member –  the Committee meets every few months and elections take place at the AGM in October.

*Sing! Carols by Candlelight usually 6pm on the last day of the autumn term – look out for posters or social media
